Presby’s Inspired Life Dedicates Rosemont’s Glorious Garden

September 16, 2016

On Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, Presby’s Inspired Life formally dedicated the Glorious Garden at Rosemont.

The Glorious Garden is an outdoor oasis conveniently nestled on Rosemont’s sprawling 10-acre campus that includes garden benches, a small pond with accompanying waterfall, a birdbath, different types of beautiful flowers and flagstone pavement blocks upon which people will be able to pay tribute to friends and loved ones with special messages.

The project came to life thanks to tireless planning and generous donations from Rosemont’s residents.

“The vision has come true for what we wanted to do here,” Presby’s Inspired Life President and CEO Judee M. Bavaria said.

The Glorious Garden project could not have come together without the incredible support longtime Rosemont residents Marion Schindler and Dorothy Burton, the co-chairs of the Glorious Garden campaign.

Burton dedicated her contributions to the Glorious Garden to her parents, who are honored on a plaque near the entrance to the garden.

“We are so pleased to have our quiet oasis,” Schindler said during the dedication ceremony.

“We have great pride in our home and our work to beautify these 10 acres,” Schindler continued. “It’s a reminder of our sense of community and how we can do important things and bring great riches to each other’s lives.”
