Presby’s Inspired Life Assistant Director of Affordable Housing Tameata Jordan was recognized as the chapter’s Certified Property Manager of the Year.
Presby’s Inspired Life Assistant Director of Affordable Housing, Tameata Jordan was recognized by the Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) Delaware Valley Chapter as this year’s Certified Property Manager (CPM) Candidate of the Year at the organization’s holiday gala on Nov. 20.
The IREM is an international community of real estate managers that helps industry professionals become and stay connected. The IREM’s Delaware Valley Chapter serves Philadelphia, Delaware and parts of New Jersey. Tameata serves on the chapter’s executive committee as vice president.
The CPM Candidate of the Year award is given out at the chapter’s holiday gala each year. The executive committee of the chapter votes on who will receive the award and the recipient is unaware he or she will receive the award until his or her name is called at the gala.
“I was very surprised!” Tameata said of receiving the award. “A lot of other Presby’s team members were there that night. Presby’s was very well represented. Even they came up to me and said, ‘Tameata, you were so surprised!'”
“But it felt great to receive the award,” continued Tameata, who has been a member of the IREM’s Delaware Valley Chapter since 1997. “It was great to be recognized by the organization. And it was very nice that we had so many others from Presby’s there to help celebrate.”
Presby’s Inspired Life would like to congratulate Tameata on her richly deserved award!
