VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES APPOINTED AT PRESBY’S INSPIRED LIFE

(Lafayette Hill, PA) – Colette C. Brown has been appointed vice president of human resources at Presby’s Inspired Life, the Lafayette Hill-based not-for-profit provider of continuing care services for seniors.
The multi-site organization, which maintains more than 1,100 employees, provides independent and assisted living, skilled nursing care and affordable housing to more than 2,600 residents at 26 locations throughout the Greater Delaware Valley.
In announcing her appointment, Presby’s Inspired Life President and CEO Judee M. Bavaria said Brown will be responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of human resources initiatives that include recruitment and retention, employee recognition, training and development, benefits and compensation, compliance, and organizational development. She will also play an integral role on the seven-member senior executive team, Bavaria said. Most recently, Brown was director of human resources at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park, PA, and Springfield Hospital, Springfield, PA, both part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, Upland, PA.
“I look forward to getting to know and working with our team members at all communities,” Brown said. “My goals are to continue to build programs that support, retain and recognize our valued team members and to provide them with opportunities for continuing growth and development.” Brown holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources from Widener University, Chester, PA; a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY; and a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Philadelphia and Suburban Healthcare Human Resources Association and the Pennsylvania Human Resources Planning Society.
