PHOENIXVILLE RESIDENT APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

(Lafayette Hill, PA) – Jennifer Kappen, CPA, Phoenixville, PA, has been appointed vice president of finance at Presby’s Inspired Life, a Lafayette Hill-based not-for-profit provider of continuing care and housing for seniors.
The multi-site organization provides independent and assisted living, skilled nursing care and affordable housing to more than 2,600 residents at 27 communities throughout the Greater Delaware Valley.
In announcing her appointment, Presby’s Inspired Life Chief Financial Officer Cynthia Hoffman said, “Kappen will be responsible for providing leadership in identifying strategic goals and solutions to financial challenges and opportunities for the organization. In doing so, Kappen will direct all aspects of accounting and financial reporting including financial statements, key metrics reports, analysis, budgeting, quarterly reports, audits and disclosure statements. She will also play an integral role on Presby’s nine-member senior executive team.” Most recently, Kappen was director of business development and financial planning at Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries, Mechanicsburg, PA. Prior to that role, Kappen was senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, Harrisburg, PA. Kappen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA; and a license as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Kappen is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
