BROOMALL RESIDENT APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT OF SENIOR SERVICES

(Lafayette Hill, PA) – Mary Kender, N.H.A., Broomall, PA, has been appointed vice president of senior services at Presby’s Inspired Life, a Lafayette Hill-based not-for-profit provider of continuing care and housing for seniors.
The multi-site organization provides independent and assisted living, skilled nursing care and affordable housing to more than 2,600 residents at 27 communities throughout the Greater Delaware Valley.
In announcing her appointment, Presby’s Inspired Life Chief Operating Officer Garry D. Hennis said,
“Kender will be responsible for the overall direction and management of Presby’s five market-rate
communities, which provide independent and assisted living, as well as nursing care. In doing so, she will
develop and implement strategic objectives, capital and operating budgets, organizational goals, marketing
plans and environmental changes to ensure that programs are delivered in manners consistent with the
organization’s goals. She will also play an integral role on the nine-member senior executive team.”
Most recently, Kender was vice president of affordable housing and community services at Presby,
having directed the development of several low-income, sponsored and managed rental communities for
seniors, which led to the continued expansion of the organization’s affordable housing ministry. Prior to that
